St Andrew Square to York Place
The project involves construction of new and upgraded walking and cycling facilities to provide an improved east west link into ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ city centre. The scheme comprises three sections.
Section 3 St Andrew Square to York Place
This section features:
- provision of on-road cycleway, segregated from traffic by temporary kerbs
- reduction in the number of lanes northbound on South St David Street from two to one
- cycle-only crossing at George Street
- parallel zebra crossings
- raised table entrances at side roads
- on-road cycle lanes
